Physical training for young ballplayers

Speed, strength and movement work alongside the baseball — the part of a player’s game that decides who gets to the ball first. Send the form below and Coach Rafa will place your player in a group.

The training program

Stronger, quicker, harder to knock off the field

Skill work takes a player a long way, but the players who keep improving are the ones who can move well. This program trains the body that plays the game: speed and agility, age-appropriate strength, mobility, and the arm care that keeps a young pitcher healthy.

Groups run 10 to 12 players so every athlete gets coached and corrected, not just counted through a circuit. The rate is $40 per player, and it is the same whether your player is brand new to training or has been doing it a while.

Training pairs with weekend classes

Plenty of families do both — physical training for the body, a weekend class for the skill. Each is booked on its own, so you are never locked into a package.

What a training session covers

01

Speed & first step

Sprint mechanics, starts and change of direction — the quickness that shows up as an extra base or a ball reached in the gap.

02

Strength & body control

Age-appropriate work with bodyweight and light resistance. Built to make a young athlete sturdier, never to load a growing body.

03

Mobility & arm care

Hips, shoulders and ankles kept moving, plus the warm-up and recovery habits that keep players on the field instead of watching.

04

Conditioning that transfers

Real movement, done with intent. We train the positions and efforts a baseball player actually uses in a game.
